Interbeing Retreat

Interbeing: A Return to the Heart

A 6 Night Meditation Retreat

With Carol Perry, Suzie Brown, Lisa Brown & Lody Levy

The Buddha taught that we are interdependent with all beings and all things, both human and non-human – the term interbeing was created by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh to describe this understanding.

In this retreat we will explore what it is to experience and deeply realise interbeing. With embodied mindfulness practices and supportive Sangha, we will open to the deep interdependence of all life. And this can reveal joy, wonder and our innate capacity for resilience and compassionate action.

Join us on sacred Gumbaynggirr lands in the beautiful forest and ocean surrounds of Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre for this special week of silent sitting and walking meditation (in- and outdoors), Dharma inquiry, gentle Heart Yoga, deep relaxation, meditative and art-based activities to deepen our sense of interbeing, and connection in a like-minded community.

The unique combination of teachers offering this retreat brings deep experience in activism, conflict resolution, community building, yoga and embodied practices, and art-based practices, in addition to a depth of Dharma insight and experience.
